i know i've posted this elsewhere but it makes me smile.
their record-setting QB is gone. their leading rusher as well. the top two WRs? gone. the offensive line is being re-tooled. an unknown QB steps in to hand off to the new #1 back (who gained less than half of the yards of his predecessor the season before). the new top WRs have experience but never had to share the #1&2 roles. most of the defense returns and hopefully they can carry the team for the first half of the season as the new offense tries to get in gear. luckily for them, they're schedule isn't very tough, getting Illinois and Wisconsin at home. they are expected to finish no better than 3rd in the Big Ten while their arch rivals return damn near their whole team and are expected to compete for the National Championship(oh yeah, The Game is in their house this year).

I wish all of this off the field stuff would go away and we could just concentrate on 2008 football. Good Luck. I would love to see you all kill the Buckeyes. |
